Because of this, we have an opportunity for a remarkable IT Project Manager to join us and play a key role in helping lead a new team into an exciting digital future at Boots. What you�ll do With proven experience and success as an IT Project Manager from a retail background, you�ll bring your knowledge of E-commerce to every aspect of this role, including: � Delivering E-commerce projects and small enhancements to agreed scope, acceptance criteria, time, cost and quality � Managing third parties involved in the delivery of projects � Identifying and managing IT project risks and issues � Keep key stakeholders up to date on the progress of projects � Ensure projects meet agreed customer requirements and are efficiently handed over to the relevant service teams � Documenting the functional and non-functional needs of customers and ensuring these needs are agreed by all relevant stakeholders involved in the project � Making sure all designs are robust, simple to support and recover and approved by all project stakeholders � Producing comprehensive estimates for projects that are accurate, represent good value and are approved by the stakeholders of the project � Managing various commercial agreements for the delivery of projects � Producing and maintaining financial forecasts for all projects by tracking their progress Combining all these key functions of this fast-paced role you will manage the IT requirements for a number of projects at any one time and take responsibility for the full IT life cycle of those projects. What you�ll need � Considerable retail experience including experience of working in an E-Commerce delivery team � Proven success in managing and delivering IT projects in a dynamic and demanding environment � The ability to effectively use and implement project manager methodology A good knowledge of Web development and analytics (such as SEO/SEM) and Websphere � Experience of IT Project Management delivery; including MI reporting and multi-channel projects � Stakeholder Management experience and the ability to confidently lead and manage teams (including virtual teams) � Ability to successfully manage commercial project budgets and financial controls � A PRINCE2 Practitioner is preferred, but not essential � Graduate calibre or equivalent qualification What you�ll get from us Along with a salary of circa �40k we�ll reward you with a range of benefits including: � Membership to Boots� annual bonus plan (subject to individual and company performance) � 25 days� holiday per year � Company discount card � Pension scheme � Discounts on health and dental care � Childcare vouchers If you have the experience, ability and ambition this role demands then we�d like to hear from you.
