We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant IT Trainer to join the Training Department of an expanding firm.
The role will involve:
- Assisting in the preparation, administration and delivery of IT training services
- Developing and ensuring effective implementation of the IT training programme
- Assisting in the co-ordinating of the firms internal and external training programme
Duties will include:
- Responding to queries and help desk calls
- Delivering training on a one to one and classroom level
- Gaining a full knowledge and understanding of the firms existing and new technologies
- Creating and updating training documentation in response to system updates and the implementation of new systems
- Scheduling training courses
- Planning and assisting in the administration of training within the department
- Working closely with the IT development and support teams to assist in the planning and implementation of new technologies
- Maintaining the firms Learning Management System to ensure all training records are up to date
- Being responsible for maintaining and updating employees CPD records
- Assisting in the co-ordination and administration and booking of training seminars
The successful applicant will have a high level of IT literacy, be fully conversant in Office 2003 and have knowledge of 2007 applications. The role requires excellent communication and presentation skills coupled with the ability to be well organised.
Whilst a training background would be advantageous this role would suit applicants with excellent IT and communication skills who have interest in developing or formalising their training skills.
