Medeeca Dental are urgently seeking a qualified/registered Dental Nurse to join our Clients friendly dental practice in Knaresborough.

This is a full time position Monday-Friday (38.75 hours per week).
The successful dental nurse will be responsible for day to day chairside support and assistance to both dentists and patients.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide chair side support for the dentist.
• Maintain dental surgery in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations, company policies and daily operations
• Preparing the Surgery for Dental Treatment and keeping it clean
• Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to respond to patient needs efficiently.
• Must be enthusiastic, friendly and punctual.
• Disposal of both domestic and hazardous waste in accordance with Health and Safety regulations.
• Maintain practice computer records in relation to Data Protection and confidentiality, ensuring that patient information is entered accurately and efficiently.
• Use and maintain x-ray processing equipment, follow radiographic quality assurance procedures.
• To provide evidence of GDC registration and meet the required CPD verifiable hours.
• Taking Responsibility for Cross-Infection Standards in Your Surgery
• To provide evidence of vaccination status on request and maintain hepatitis B serology levels.
